You will spawn in a desert near other biomes, but there is an NPC village nearby. There is a house literally underground, you can only see its roof and you would need to dig to get to the door.

You will spawn in a desert-pine forest in winter. There is an NPC village nearby, but two buildings are weird, as they are dangerously close. One house is on a sand hill, and so it has sand inside. There is also a nearby lake with a shelter of floating sand.

You will appear on the border of a swampland and a desert.
