when i try to get on the beta server it says outdated server disconnected by server this is xxpandasnip3rxx BTW

Yes u have to get the update... its 1.9.2 get that and then yeah.. try then

its not 1.9.2 its just prerelease 2 of 1.9

i cant get 1.9

Download that jar file.
now go to C:\Users\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\bin Or just type %appdata%/.minecraft/bin
Now replace the old jar file with the one you just downloaded.
If you cant find your .minecraft folder, try opening minecraft, click on mods and texturepacks, click on open texture pack folder, close minecraft, now back track from there by clicking on the folders and arrow things at the top untill you get to the .minecraft folder, then click on bin folder and there you should find the old jar file. I dont know an easier way.
